There is still time to register and train for Lake Regional Health System’s 10th Annual Fun Run/Walk scheduled Saturday, May 6, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
Check-in for the Run/Walk begins at 7 a.m. in parking lot A in front of the hospital’s Medical Office Building. The 5K Run begins at 8 a.m. and follows a course from the hospital campus down Osage Beach Parkway. Fun Walk participants will start walking immediately after the run begins.
Chris Cakes of St. Louis will provide a $5 all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. Serving will begin at 8 a.m., and the breakfast is free to paid run/walk participants, as well as children 5 years old and younger.
Chip timing will be available, and medals will be awarded to male and female participants in the following men’s and women’s divisions: age 12 and under, ages 13 through 18, ages 19 through 29, ages 30 through 39, ages 40 through 49, ages 50 through 59, and age 60 and older.
The registration fee is $30 for all runners and walkers. Registering on or before April 14 guarantees participants a tech T-shirt. Online registration and printable registration forms are available at www.lakeregional.com/events or by contacting Lake Regional Community Outreach at 573-348-8222.
