Lake Regional Cardiologist Treating Patients in Lebanon
OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — Board-certified Cardiologist Zubair Khan, M.D., FACC, with Lake Regional Heart and Vascular in Osage Beach, now provides appointments at Lake Regional Clinic – Lebanon, located at 441 W. Elm St. An ultrasound tech also visits the clinic to provide echocardiograms and carotid Dopplers.
Dr. Khan provides outreach to make specialty care more convenient for patients by saving them travel time. In addition to Lebanon, he provides outreach in Eldon, Iberia, Laurie, Richland, Versailles and Waynesville.
“Every week, I see patients who wouldn’t have access to cardiology care if I didn’t go to them,” Dr. Khan said. “Bringing our services directly to the patients helps ensure they receive the treatment they need.”
Dr. Khan is able to perform some diagnostic tests for heart disease and provide follow-up care at the outreach clinic. At Lake Regional Heart and Vascular in Osage Beach, Dr. Khan also offers advanced interventional cardiac procedures, such as angioplasty, stent placement and coronary rotablation (plaque removal).
Dr. Khan joined Lake Regional in October 2003. He completed a cardiology fellowship and internal medicine residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, as well as an interventional cardiology fellowship at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn.
