Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Holds Annual Fall Dinner and Awards Ceremony
LAKE OZARK, Mo. – Over 260 members of the Lake business community gathered for the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Fall Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, October 25th 2018 at The Lodge of Four Seasons.
Five prestigious awards were given throughout the evening in the following categories:
Non-Profit of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, and Distinguished Citizen of the Year. Recipients of this award were nominated by their peers through a formal nomination process.
The winners of the 2018 LACC Prestigious Awards are:
The Lake Area Chamber staff awarded Board Member of the Year to Angie Schuster for her outstanding service to the Lake Area Chamber and the Lake community. Dave Crane and Jonathan Stone were both presented with the President’s Award, in recognition of their outstanding service to the Lake Area Chamber and the Lake community.
Lake Area Chamber of Commerce members celebrating 25 years of membership were also recognized. These members include:
- Non-Profit of the Year: Kids' Harbor
- Small Business of the Year: Golden Rule Insurance Agency
- Large Business of the Year: RE/MAX Lake of the Ozarks
- Young Professional of the Year: Ria Newcomb
- Distinguished Citizen of the Year: Rocky Miller
The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit, membership-based organization with more than 530 members ranging from home-based businesses to large corporations.
